Fisheries Awareness  The world’s fisheries are in trouble and only the future generations (you!) can save them.  Investigate the current dangers to marine fisheries, debate the pros and cons of different fishing gear, and create an interactive simulation to bring awareness to the general public about our marine fisheries.

Rube Goldberg Mini-Golf Challenge Use the Rube Goldberg philosophy to plan, create, and build miniature golf holes based around themes related to sailing, marine science, surfing, fishing, kayaking, and other ocean themes.  In teams, pick a golf hole theme, investigate your topic, and then use engineering and creative design to bring your ideas to life!  At the end, play a round of mini-golf on all of the holes.
