    If you love being in the water and riding on waves, then this class is for YOU!  This dynamic class blends wave riding, basic oceanography, water safety awareness and marine education into a weekend experience.  We will be testing our water riding skills out on as many different types of boats & boards that we can.  Boogie boarding, stand up paddle boarding & kayaking.  This is the ultimate water adventure, testing your core, balance and fitness.  No experience is necessary as long as you are comfortable on and in the water.  We will teach you the basics!  Come have fun in the sun while learning valuable ocean safety skills.  Includes: boogie boarding, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking & boat rides.

    Get ready for some high flying engineering! Learn about the laws of physics while working in teams to build an egg bungee jump, and a sneaker launcher and see how far you can stretch your engineering skills. Registration due: May 6th, please contact Gallup Hill to register.

  • Week 3 (July 6-10)

    Surf, SUP, Science (AM Session, 9 am - 12 pm)

    Make the connection between science and adventure! Experiment with board stability while stand up paddle boarding, analyze wave dynamics with a taste of surfing and boogie boarding, and learn about some of the natural animal surfers that utilize the power of waves and currents. Design new ways to improve the boards you ride as you experiment with buoyancy, surface area, and density. Includes: taste of surfing, stand up paddle boarding, boogie boarding, boat trips, and snorkel adventures.

    $215/week

    Life of an Aquarist (AM Session, 9 am - 12 pm)

    Create, catch, feed, and clean as you jump into the life of an aquarist!  In teams, build an aquarium habitat from the gravel up while looking into animal behavior and learning what it takes to make and sustain a thriving saltwater mini-ecosystem.  Decide what sediment, algae, and animals will reside in your aquarium as you learn to care for your system and the life in your tank.  Includes: aquariums, at least 1 boat trip, & snorkeling
